In 1996, I was in 2 auto accidents just 6 weeks apart. Both times my car was rear-ended causing me to suffer from headaches as well as stiffness and pain in my neck and back. Massage therapy along with some medications were prescribed by my doctor. Reluctant to take any medications, I started therapeutic massage right away and found relief after just a few sessions and ultimately, complete relief. A few years later, my employer sent me to a local spa for some pampering where I enjoyed a relaxing massage as well as my first professional facial. This became an enjoyable way for me to manage stress and take care of myself while raising 4 children and working full-time.
In 2008, after a 17 year career, I felt led to serve Him by serving others through the gift of massage. I left dentistry and became a licensed massage therapist in 2009. The Well Spa has seen exponential growth over the past few years largely due to word of mouth referrals from our raving fans who tell their families, friends and co-workers about the results they received from services at the hands of our hand-picked team of professionals. Our purpose is to serve Him by serving others as we listen, serve, educate and build lasting professional relationships with each person who comes to us. We truly care and it shows.
Our name, the Well Spa, comes from John 4 where Jesus meets the woman at the well. In John 4:36, Jesus tells his disciples "Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together."
Come see what sets us apart, as we welcome you into our spa family and look forward to serving you and your loved ones for many years.

~Amber Barton - I am a licensed massage therapist. I graduated from Professional Massage Training Center in Springfield, MO where I was trained in clinical and relaxation techniques. I am passionate about providing consistent, exceptional massage therapy treatments for each individual. By using a clinical approach, such as neuromuscular therapy, I feel that precision and accuracy can be achieved to support health as well as provide pain management and relief.
Personally, I am the wife of my amazing husband, Jon, and the mom of Jordan. We enjoy serving at our church and spending time outdoors in the Ozarks. In my spare time, I can usually be found at home cooking, crafting and enjoying everyday life. It is such a blessing to have the opportunity to serve the Nixa community through massage therapy.
~Stephanie McIntyre - I'm a licensed massage therapist and graduated from School of Massage Arts in Springfield, MO. I believe in the holistic, healing power of regular therapeutic massage. As a licensed massage therapist for nearly 17yrs, I have developed a wide range of specialized techniques that meet the needs of my individual clients. In the years of my experience I have seen the benefits of therapeutic massage by offering immediate relief of your current physical symptoms and regard you with unconditional compassion and understanding.
On a personal note, I have three amazing children, love to be in nature and doing activities like camping, hiking, caving, and gardening. I am a vessel of God and believe that I have found my calling in life by serving others through healing touch.
~Raquel Holmgren - I'm a licensed massage therapist. I graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado and moved to Missouri to study essential oils and herbs. I love working with people and am always trying to find new ways to help. I want to make a difference in the body, not just giving a massage that lasts for the day, but finding ways to make it more constant by making forward progress towards balance in the body. I have a passion for knowing the muscles and I use this with deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy and a range of other techniques.
In my free time, I love horseback riding, drawing, going on walks through the woods and spending time with family.
~Bailey Harper - I'm a licensed esthetitician and I'm certified in microneedling, dermaplane, microdermabrasion and lash lifts. I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my work and am passionate about helping people love their skin with and without makeup. I love to educate people. Waxing and tinting are also services that I really enjoy.
~Sydney Marciniak - I'm a licensed massage therapist, and graduate of the Wellspring School of Allied Health. I love helping people get back to being able to do the things they love by restoring their range of motion and relieving pain. I excel at deeper work and especially enjoy neck and back work. I was born and raised here, and in my spare time, you'll find me at CrossFit or spending time with my family and church.
~Amelia Curtis - I am a licensed massage therapist, and graduate of the Wellspring School of Allied Health here in Springfield. Getting to know my guests and customizing each session to fit their needs is my favorite part of being a massage therapist. I truly believe that no two massages will ever the exactly the same, and strive to provide the best experience possible for every guest who walks in the door. I was born and raised in this area and have a passion for cooking (and eating!), photography/videography and caring for animals.
~Alaina McCauley - I am a licensed massage therapist. I am proud to practice here in Nixa where it still has the feel of a small town community. I graduated from School of Massage Arts and furthered my training in neuromuscular massage therapy. I feel led in the direction of pain management/relief. Neuromuscular therapy is a specific and scientific approach to muscular pain relief that will help to bring about balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.
On a personal note...First and foremost, I am a Christian. I am married to my best friend, Randy, who is an awesome leader for our family. We enjoy the outdoors with camping, hiking, biking and gardening. We are proud parents and grandparents!
Massage, skin care and body treatments are truly gifts worth giving! With each of us having a servant's heart, these services fit perfectly with our personalities. It is such a blessing to help relieve pain, to reduce the effects of stress and anxiety, to restore/improve range of motion and to improve the overall health through the gift of therapeutic massage as well as helping people meet their skin care needs naturally.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us. We look forward to the privilege of serving you and learning about you as well.
